How these were measured

We fetch the Allpress Espresso logo from allpressespresso.com, decode the PNG, and count every pixel. Transparent pixels are not counted, on a logo delivered on a clear background they would otherwise outnumber everything and report the colour of nothing.

Colours a person cannot tell apart are merged. The edge of any letterform is a ramp of half-shades between the ink and whatever is behind it, and publishing six of those as brand colours is how the scraped palettes on other sites end up listing four greys.

The limit is worth stating plainly: this is the palette of a logo, not a brand book. A colour Allpress Espresso uses on packaging or on their site but not in their mark will not appear here.

Questions

What are Allpress Espresso's brand colours?

sand, camel, black, chocolate and brown, #E6D5C3, #C08E59, #2D1914, #4C3B33, #7D5A3C. The one to reach for first is camel #C08E59.

Where do these hex codes come from?

The Allpress Espresso logo itself, fetched from allpressespresso.com and read pixel by pixel. Colours within a hair of each other are merged, because the edge of any letterform is a ramp between the ink and what is behind it and none of those greys are a brand colour. Nothing here is copied from another site.

Is this Allpress Espresso's official palette?

It is what is in their logo, which is not the same thing. A brand book usually holds more : a secondary set, tints, a colour that only appears on packaging. What you get here is the part that is verifiable from a file anyone can fetch.

Can I use these colours?

A hex code is not protected. Using Allpress Espresso's palette to pass work off as theirs is a trademark problem, and the same colours in your own moodboard, chart or comparison deck are not.
